OIL is seeking to appoint two Domain Experts with a wealth of fishing operations knowledge. The chosen applicants will be hired on a call-in basis and will be in charge of organizing, managing, and keeping an eye on fishing operations throughout drilling and workover operations. Qualification for Oil India Vacancy 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements in order to be considered for the Domain Expert position:
Qualifications for Education:
A graduate degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or petroleum engineering from a reputable domestic or foreign university is required of candidates.
Experience:
It is necessary to have at least 25 years of expertise in drilling and workover operations, with 20 of those years having to be spent in fishing activities.
Candidates must have retired from OIL or any other PSU involved in exploration and production (E&P) operations at least from the Grade G (General Manager) position or an equivalent position.
Maximum Age:
As of the application deadline, the maximum age for applicants is 65 years old. After the nominee achieves this age restriction, empanelment will end.
Selection Method :
Candidates will be chosen on the basis of their fishing operations experience and proficiency. After reviewing the applications, OIL will choose a shortlist of applicants based on their credentials and pertinent work history. Candidates that make the short list might be contacted for an interview or additional testing, if required.
Work Location:
Field Headquarters, Duliajan, Assam, is where drilling and work over locations are conducted. However, depending on the needs of the job, he or she may occasionally have to travel to any OIL location in India.

OIL India Research and Development :
Investigation and Creation
Two knowledge-based research and development centers have been built by Oil India Limited (OIL): the Center of Excellence for Energy Studies (CoEES) in Guwahati, Assam, India, and the Research & Development Department (R&D) at its Field Headquarters in Duliajan, Assam, India. With an emphasis on meeting the needs of oil, these R&D centers offer unique, creative, and reasonably priced solutions to the problems facing the energy sector. The Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, has recognized both centers. According to the ER Policy, 2018 published in The Gazette of India of MoP&NG on November 24, 2020, CoEES has also been approved as a Designated Institute for the purpose of screening and vetting Enhanced Recovery projects.
