OVERALL GUIDELINES
(1) The candidate must not have previously completed an apprenticeship at Bank of India or any other organization or place, nor be pursuing apprenticeship training in accordance with the modified Apprenticeship Act of 1961. One year will be the length of the training, apprenticeship, or engagement time.
(2) Applicants who have received training or work experience for a year or more following the completion of their academic credentials are not eligible to work as apprentices.
(3) There is no reservation for ex-servicemen or disabled ex-servicemen in the apprentice engagement, nor are they permitted to be hired as apprentices.
(4) Following training, the apprentice will not be eligible to apply for a job at the bank.
(5) During and/or after the apprenticeship period, Bank of India is under no duty to provide trainees with regular employment. Candidates will be automatically released from their respective work areas upon completion of the apprenticeship period.
(6) All apprentices receiving apprenticeship training at the Bank are regarded as TRAINEEs for all reasons and are not regarded as WORKERS or EMPLOYEES of the Bank; therefore, they are exempt from the labor laws’ restrictions. He or she will not be eligible to enjoy any perks that are offered to Bank employees.
